Friends of North Plains Smart Growth is a political organization dedicated to referring North Plains’ Urban Growth Boundary expansion to the voters so residents get a say in how their city looks and grows. Please support our work with your generous donation! All monies raised go directly to either legal fees, or getting the word out with yard signs, printed materials, mailers, etc. The organization relies on dedicated volunteers, has no paid staff, so 100% of your donation directly helps the cause!
As a political organization, your contribution will be much appreciated, help keep Oregon Oregon, but is not tax deductible.
Friends of North Plains Smart Growth is a political committee. As such, you can deduct your donation to us on your personal, state income tax return to the extent permitted by law, which is currently $50 dollars per individual or $100 per couple filing jointly. For those of you wondering, the chief petitioner and core member of Friends of North Plains Smart Growth live within North Plains City limits. Several volunteers do as well. Many other rural folks just outside city limits are also key players. Aaron is a local CSA farmer in Helvetia (whose many customers come from Sunset Ridge) who is the treasurer and is very passionate about protecting farmland.
